Survey on Community Facilities

Published: 04 February 2021

Work is under way to update the Borough Council’s Community, Leisure and Recreation Needs Assessment. The assessment will form a framework for establishing the borough’s future approach to open space, sport and recreation which is key to the healthy communities across the borough as we recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.

This assessment will also consider how well community buildings are serving community needs operating now and how this can be improved in the future, accounting for factors such as growth in the borough.

As well as working closely with community associations and groups running the halls, residents and users of community facilities across the borough are being encouraged to tell us what is important to them.

Through this survey, residents are being for more information on how they use community facilities, what they think of the quality of facilities across the borough, how they travel to use these facilities and how their usage may change due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The survey is open until Sunday 7 March.  To take part, follow: https://basingstoke-and-deane-community-buildings-user-survey-luc.hub.arcgis.com/
