The Parish Council arranged the installation of a new 'Lest We Forget' commemorative seat on Thornhill Way near the junction with Mattock Way. The seat which features white doves of peace and red poppies was installed on behalf of our community to recognise and commemorate the sacrifices of everyone affected by any war or conflict.

County and Borough Councillor Elaine Still carried out the official unveiling on 10th November 2018.
