A tributary of the River Loddon, Petty's Brook is a small stream that flows through Chineham. Footpaths run for much of its length and it provides an attractive amenity in the area as well as a haven for wildlife.

On occasion, the brook gets blocked by rubbish and overgrown plants. Basingstoke & Deane Borough Council is responsible for maintaining most of the public space around the Parish, including areas along the Brook. If you notice that the brook has become blocked at any time please do report it direct to the Borough Council on 01256 844844 or via their website at www.basingstoke.gov.uk/report.
