Notice of AGM
The Annual General Meeting of the Chineham Village Hall Management Committee will be held at Chineham Village Hall Committee Room at 7:45pm on Tuesday 24th March 2026. The meeting will receive the reports and accounts for the year ending 31st December 2025, and will elect up to 10 members for the committee of management. Residents of Chineham who are aged 18 or over are entitled to attend the meeting and vote. Entrance to the Committee Room is via the Lounge Bar of the Village Club
If you are a Chineham resident aged 18 or over and are interested in being nominated for the Committee, a nomination form can be obtained on our website or by telephoning 07927 649083. The completed form can be sent by email to chinehamvillagehall@gmail.com for the attention of E Harmon, Clerk to the Trustees; or posted to E Harmon, of 8 Cook Place, Basingstoke, RG21 6AT. Are any of you able to help – or do you know of someone who can, to ensure we keep this facility open for Chineham residents?
We are looking for new members for the Chineham Village Hall Management Committee (please note, this is not related to the Village Club Committee) to ensure the Village Hall and all the facilities on site remain open and available to the Chineham community. The facilities include the entire building (incorporating village halls, village club, meeting rooms), the playground, playing fields, and car park.
This facility is run as a charity and Members attend Committee meetings of approximately 2 hours on the fourth Monday of each month at 19:30pm, 12 months of the year.
If you are interested in your community, would like to be involved in the decisions concerning the village hall and all its amenities, and are able to attend most of these meetings, we would love to hear from you.
