2. | MINUTES OF PREVIOUS PLANNING MEETING |
| The Minutes of the meeting held on 10 May 2010 were signed as a correct record of that meeting. |
3. | ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN AND VICE CHAIRMAN |
3.1. | Councillor Biermann proposed Councillor Thornton to continue as Chairman – this was seconded by Councillor Tomblin and accepted. |
3.2. | Councillor Thornton proposed Councillor Miller to continue as Deputy Chairman – this was seconded by Councillor Tomblin and accepted. |
4. | NEW APPLICATIONS |
4.1. | BDB/72371 16 Fox’s Furlong, RG24 8WN Erection of single storey rear extension with conversion garage to living accommodation. Construction of chimney to north elevation and erection of new side garage. Chineham Parish Council has no objection to this application. However, a condition will be sought to protect any important trees or hedgerows on the southern boundary of the site. A question was also raised as to the height of the chimney in relation to the adjoining property. |
4.2. | BDB/72335 29 Ajax Close, RG24 8XA Erection of a single storey rear extension A member of the public was present for this agenda item. Chineham Parish Council has no objection to this application. |
4.3. | BDB/72480 44 Minden Close, RG24 8TH Crown reduce 3 oak and fell 2 oak Two members of the public were present for this agenda item. Discussion took place with regard to the exact location of the trees. Chineham Parish Council objects to the application. It was agreed that dead, diseased and dangerous branches should be removed but the Parish Council objects to crown reduction or felling merely to alleviate shade. |
4.4. | BDB/72488 25 Mayflower Close, RG24 8XS Conversion of garage roof space to living accommodation with the construction of a dormer window to front elevation Chineham Parish Council has no objection to this application. However, a question about the submitted plan was raised as to whether or not the dormer will be hipped. |

6. | PLANNING ADMINISTRATION With reference to the list of Enforcement Cases which was discussed at the last meeting, it was confirmed that Ward members will advise the Assistant Clerk as necessary of any additional enforcement issues relevant to Chineham. |
6.1. | Local Development Framework (LDF) – To be carried forward to next meeting |
6.2. | Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment (SHLAA) The prepared response was discussed and Planning Councillors asked for comments. The final document will go forward to the full meeting of the Parish Council in June for endorsement before submission to the Borough. |
