MINUTES OF PREVIOUS PLANNING MEETING

The Minutes of the meeting held on 22 February 2010 were signed as a correct record of that meeting.

3.

NEW APPLICATIONS

3.1.

BDB/71989   56 Reading Road, RG24 8LT

Extension of Time Limit specified in Condition 1 of BDB/59916 for the erection of a part two storey, part first floor side extension and first floor front extension

Chineham Parish Council has no objection to this application.

3.2.

BDB/71994   9 Four Lanes Close, RG24 8RN

Erection of a single storey side and rear extension with

Councillor Miller expressed an interest in this application.

A letter of objection has been received from a local resident.   Chineham Parish Council will advise the resident that some of the concerns noted are not planning matters and should be progressed with the Borough.

Chineham Parish Council objects to this application as there would seem to be no material changes that will alleviate the issues raised previously in response to BDB/71109 (Planning Minutes 24 August 2009) and BDB/71319 (Planning Minutes 27 October 2009).

It was noted that the requirement for display of the Planning Notice was not met as the Notice was displayed on the front door, not on the property boundary.   

The proposal to reduce the height of an oak tree on the boundary was also noted.   Chineham Parish Council objects strongly to any such reduction of this tree.
