All the meetings are held in the Community rooms of the Village Hall from 7.45pm. All Visitors welcome, our meeting dates are as follows; 12th October
9th November
14th December The Parish Council is currently waiting to hear from the Borough regarding the planning application for the proposed allotments at Ajax Close. However, we’re aware that planning permission has only been sought for 37 allotments but we have considerably more than this number on our waiting list. So the Parish Council has contacted everyone on our allotment waiting list to ask if they want to remain on the list.* If you are one of the people on our waiting list, please note that replies can be sent either by email or letter, but not by ‘phone (our details are below) and should be received by the Assistant Clerk by no later than Tuesday 6 October 2009. If you think you should have heard from us but haven’t, please contact us straight way so that we can resend this to you; however, the deadline is still the same. *Please note that receipt of a letter or email, as mentioned above, does not constitute an offer of an allotment garden. Mail: PO Box 6796, Basingstoke, Hants., RG24 4LS Ever month the Chineham Parish Council meeting Agendas are placed on the noticeboards prior to the meeting as well as uploaded along with the minutes of the meetings to our website, however, if you do not have access to the internet and would like a copy of the minutes then please contact the Clerk who will be able to supply you with a hard copy via the post The Clerk met with representatives of the Environment Agency to discuss the issue residents are having with obtaining house insurance. Unfortunately, there were no residents in attendance. It would appear the issue is with how the insurance companies interpret the data rather than the data itself. Also, they use data not only obtained from the Environment Agency but from other sources. The Parish Council is here to help the Residents of Chineham so if there is a Chineham issue you are concerned about please feel free to contact the Clerk, Karen Ross, on 01256 474500 or email clerk@chineham.gov.uk or Eunice Jones, on 01256 324345 or email assistantclerk@chineham.gov.uk during office hours only please.
